The West Virginia Crash are a minor league American football team based in Kenova, West Virginia and currently play in the United States Football Alliance USFA. The Crash were a charter member of the Ohio Valley Football League in 2000, but moved to the USFA in 2007.
The Crash originally played their home games at A.D. Lewis Field in Huntington, but moved to Ward-Craycraft Stadium in Kenova in the 2007 season. In 2007, the West Virginia Crash won the USFA Western Football Conference South Division title with a 5-4 regular season record before losing to the undefeated Lima Warriors in the conference semi-finals to finish 6-5. In 2006, the Crash had their only winning season in the OVFL and advanced to the league semifinals before finishing with a record of 7-4-1. Prior to their recent consecutive winning seasons, the Crash struggled during their first six seasons posting a combined record of 5-57 from 2000-2005.
