The West Papua national football team is a team from the Indonesian western half of the island of New Guinea. It is a member of NF-Board. Originally they was listed to take part to 2006 VIVA World Cup but then withdrew.
On June 23, 2005 the West Papua national football team played in the 2005 UNPO Cup in The Hague (Netherlands). They played only one match against South Moluccas. They draw (1-1), and South Moluccas won on penalties.
