West Jones High School

West Jones High Schoolhome of the mustangs is a public school in Laurel, Mississippi, part of the Jones County School District. The school provides education to grades 9-12.

The school was named the state's Tech Prep Exemplary Site for 2002-2003 by the Tech Prep Exemplary Site Selection Committee. [1]

Noted alumni include place kicker Britt Barefoot (b. 1986) who helped lead his team to a South State Runner-up finish and a 13-1 season in his senior year.[2]
