West Hatch is a village and parish in Somerset, England, situated five miles south east of Taunton in the Taunton Deane district. The village has a population of 292[2].

West Hatch has been the home of an RSPCA centre since 1963 when a farm was purchased for the charity. A new purpose built centre was constructed 1997. During the cleanup operation after the beaching off the MSC Napoli cargo ship off the coast of Devon, the majority of seabirds covered in oil were sent to the West Hatch RSPCA to be cleaned.
