West Hall High School is a public high school located in the western portion of Hall County, Georgia in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. West Hall is located about 10 miles southwest of Gainesville City and 20 miles southeast of Dahlonega, Georgia.

In 1988, West Hall High School opened its doors to the public. West Hall High School is an American four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in Oakwood, Georgia, as part of the Hall County School System. Located fifty miles northeast of Atlanta, it is one of 6 high schools serving Hall County.

The West Hall Spartans football team has not seen much success in recent years. Since 2004 the team has won 4 games and lost 36 reaching the state playoffs zero times and has seen 7 coaching changes. The last time West Hall qualified for the playoffs was in 2002 with a 2nd seeded playoff spot.
