West Dublin/Pleasanton is a BART station that is currently under construction on the Dublin/Pleasanton - SFO/Millbrae Line.
The station was originally supposed to enter into service when the original extension to Dublin/Pleasanton was built, and as a result, the station's foundation, along with some communication and train control facilities, already exist on-site. The station will be located in the median of I-580, just west of I-680. Its construction is expected to cost $80 million[1], with funding coming from a unique public-private partnership and the proceeds of planned transit-oriented development (TOD) on adjacent BART-owned property. Construction on the station began on 29 October 2006, and is slated to be complete in 2009.[2] Bus service will be provided by WHEELS.
