West Dean, Gloucestershire

West Dean is a village and civil parish in Gloucestershire, England, near East Dean and Littledean. Collectively, these villages and the surrounding wood (Forest of Dean) were mentioned in the Domesday Book as Dene, and appear as Dena in 1130.[1]
