The West Bromwich Albion team that won the League Championship in 1920.

This is a list of seasons played by West Bromwich Albion Football Club in English and European football, from 1883 (the year of the club's first FA Cup entry) to the most recent completed season. West Bromwich Albion football club were founded in 1878 as West Bromwich Strollers, by workers from George Salter's Spring Works. The club turned professional in 1885, and in 1888 became one of the founder members of the Football League. Albion have won the League Championship once, the FA Cup five times, the League Cup once and the Charity Shield twice (one of which was shared).

The list details the club's achievements in all major competitions, and the top league goalscorers for each season. Players in bold were also the top scorers in their division that season. Records of local cup competitions are not included due to them being considered of less importance than the FA Cup and the League Cup. In both the Birmingham Senior Cup and Staffordshire Senior Cup for example, reserve sides were permitted from 1906–07 onwards.[1] Since the club did not compete in the FA Cup until the 1883–84 season, the club's record from 1878 to 1883 is not included here.
