West-Central District

West Central Disctrict (traditional Chinese: 中西區; pinyin: Zhōngxī Qū; Wade-Giles: Jhong Si Cyu; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tiong-se-khu) is a district located in the central of Tainan City, Taiwan. It is the district founded in April 1, 2004, which merged with West District and Central District.
This District was the capital of Taiwan about 200 years and also the oldest region in Taiwan and can be traced back 300 years.
