Wesley C Smith is a British television presenter. He currently co-presents Thames Valley Tonight, an ITV1 regional news programme serving the Thames Valley area in southern England.

Smith joined Central Television in 1985 as a newsroom trainee after studying English at Birmingham University. In 1987 Wesley became a reporter for Central News West in Birmingham. Then upon its creation in 1989, he became the main presenter for Central News South in Abingdon, Oxfordshire with his main co-presenters being Anne Dawson and Hannah Shellswell. His partnership with Anne Dawson was the longest partnership together on any ITV Regional News programme right up until she left in 2002.

Central News South was the programme for which he became most infamous for gaining the name 'Mr Central South'. He continued presenting the programme for 18 years until it was shut down in December 2006.

This service ended on December 1, 2006 when ITV merged this region with the adjoining Meridian West news region to form the ITV Thames Valley news region.

As well as his work for Central News and Thames Valley Tonight, Smith has presented special programmes from the RAF International Air Tattoo for Central & Westcountry Television and has directed live news bulletins. He also appeared as a newsreader in The Remorseful Day, the final episode of Inspector Morse in 2000.
