Wesley Medical Center

Wesley Medical Center was founded in 1912 as Wesley Hospital and Nurses' Training School in Wichita, Kansas. It has grown into a licensed 760-bed, 102 bassinet, teaching hospital that serves Wichita, much of Kansas and parts of northern Oklahoma.

In February 2008 the hospital received provisional accreditation from the Joint Commission for its Gold Seal of Approval.[1] Wesley Medical Center's central pharmacy installed McKesson MedCarousel and Fulfill-Rx in 2003 to improve pharmacy operations.[2]

Wesley Medical Center in Kansas is a limited liability company registered in Kansas.[3] An unrelated organization, Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, has 211 licensed beds and is owned by Triad Hospitals, Inc.[4]
