Wesley Chesbro

Wesley Chesbro is a democrat and American Politician from California. Chesbro served as a State Senator from California's 2nd district from 1998 until 2006. He currently is a member of the California Integrated Waste Management Board. He has also served as a Humboldt County Supervisor and an Arcata city councilman.

Senator Chesbro was term limited in 2006 and was replaced by former Assemblywoman Pat Wiggins. On January 7, 2007, Chesbro was appointed by the California State Senate Rules Committee to serve again on the California Integrated Waste Management Board. State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O’Connell January 12th 2007 announced the appointment of former State Senator Wesley Chesbro to the California Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission.

On February 8, 2008 Chesbro announced that he will be running to replace term-limited Patty Berg in California's 1st assembly district.

Chesbro currently resides in Sacramento, California with his wife while he serves on the Waste Management Board. Chesbro continues to vote in and take part in Humboldt County politics from his home in Arcata, California.

Chesbro has two sons, Alan who is a junior at Humboldt State University, and Collin who is a senior at Del Campo High School.
