The Weslaco High School cheerleadinq squad is known for their unwavering school spirit
and dedication. In the past two decades the Weslaco High School cheerleading
squad has made history by competing and placing in both regional and
national competitions. The most recent of accomplishments was in 2007,
when the Varsity Co-ed Squad placed 2nd place at Regionals and 15th at the National
Competition in Orlando, Florida. The Weslaco High Cheerleading squad also attends cheer camp
every summer where they have won numerous awards such as camp champs,
cheer champs, superior ratings, and leadership awards.
