Hello, I'm a recent college graduate (majored in English with a minor in History) and college radio layabout. Areas of general interest: Rock music (in general and in certain areas and time periods; a general list of what I'm into can be found here), comic books (particularly the works of Grant Morrison and items relating to the Golden Age of Comic Books), History (particularly the Gilded Age and the Belle Époque), television, animation, and film (ranging from German Expressionism to Trainspotting to action movies as good as or better than Die Hard; man that movie is fucking awesome.)
Invariably my work on Wikipedia is primarily focused on music-related articles (that's just how it's turned out). However, I also offer my services for those seeking cleanup or copyediting on articles. So if you want me to clean a page up, just let me know. Although if a page requires extensive assistance, my abilities will be limited by how much I actually know about the topic. Additionally, a list of sources I have access to can be found here.
I've met and shook hands with Henry Rollins and Roger Miller of Mission of Burma after their respective performances, but the best show I've ever been to is still Iron Maiden in 2005. Go figure. Oh, I also once temporarily blinded Peter Hook when taking a flash picture. He played my request anyway.
I have set up a Wikiproject devoted to alternative rock. You can visit and/or join the project at Wikipedia:WikiProject Alternative music.

I see you've gotten this before, but damn it, I've been watching you slowly, methodically, clean up the Batman article, making what seem to be minor improvements that actually are majorly wonderful. That's just well done, my man! Thank you! Ipstenu (talk • contribs) 13:42, 22 June 2007 (UTC) |
