Notability has a specific meaning when used on Wikipedia. Wikipedia:Notability is a guideline to help ensure that articles are verifiable, a core Wikipedia policy. Unverifiable articles are deleted from the encyclopedia. Notability means that an article has non-trivial reliable sources discussing it, indicating its worthiness for inclusion. Unsourced is not a reason for deletion. The criterion is unsourcable.Several proposals are have been put forth at various times to change WP policy in this regard, all have failed. DGG (talk) 20:11, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
