Someone should make an article on english riding. Its a lot less well known and used, at least in North America.

True for the western United States, I think (at least, your statement is ture out here where I live), but for the rest of the world, "English" riding is simply "riding" and western is what is different and little-known. So, what's happened in Wikipedia is that the equestrianism article is mostly about english riding, as are the articles about the various disciplines that are within "english" riding, including hunt seat, saddle seat, dressage, show jumping, etc.

However, perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea to create an "English Riding" redirect or disambiguation page that is basically a link to the various articles. I think that you are right that some people would search for "English" riding and not find anything here...hmmm. Thanks for pointing this out! Montanabw 00:49, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

Posting is what English riders do, moving up and down with the trot, it's the opposite of sitting the trot. Montanabw 05:57, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
