[edit] Level 11 or level 12?

I have a slight confusion over which level the West Sussex Football League Premier Division sits at. According to this website [1], it is a level 12 league. Can anyone confirm this and cite the necessary references? Being a feeder to the Sussex County Football League Division Three, which is a level 11 division, this league should be at level 12 of the English football league system. If this is so, then this league would not be OFFICIALLY part of the National League System (which ends at step 7/level 11). --Siva1979Talk to me 07:45, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Corrrect, this is a level 12 league, and is therefore not part of the Natinoal League system, which only covers levels 5-11. However, it is part of the English football league system. (Aside: should one use "step" notation for leagues outside the NLS?) Tompw 11:11, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
On technical terms, you are correct about this. I made a minor change (and mistake) regarding this. One should not use the step notation for leagues outside NLS. That includes the level 1 to 4 leagues as well. Although it may not be a major mistake in using the "step" term, the usage of the proper terms would make these articles more accurate. Thank You for pointing this out to me. (a few other leagues in the level 12 range has the step notation in it. Soon, I will be changing these as well) --Siva1979Talk to me 15:24, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
Further Observation: Does this mean that this league should be moved to the level 12 section of the table? The articles National League System and English football league system states that this league is at level 11 in the table. We should then change this as soon as possible. --Siva1979Talk to me 15:27, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
