FYI: Central West Plaza is in Braybrook. It's on the Braybrook side of Ashley Street, so it's not in West Footscray.

Added mention of Western Hospital as it's grounds are located in W/Foots but it's street address being Footscray. (it's casualty/triage being on Elanor St)

Added mention of Western Private Hospital and the other medical facilities in the area. Moved Whitten Oval to Culture section.

western hospital is not in footscray its in west footscray.--Binh Phan 09:01, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

My reference was the online white pages (searched for Western Hospital/Victoria/Metropolitan Area). They give the address as 148 Gordon St Footscray 3011. --Scott Davis Talk 15:06, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

Footscray ends at the market street border. So the YMCA is actually in Footscray. Along with the hospital and St Johns Primary! This is a common mistake even among local resisdents!

True. According to the Melway, the border is the eastern side of Summerhill Road, which means the entire two blocks between Summerhill Road and Gordon Street (including the hospital on Gordon Street) are in Footscray. Orderinchaos78 00:33, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

The Whitten Oval is in Footscray, not West Footscray. Mustard Pot 01:51, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
