I WENT TO EDGEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL, WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA 1962/1963

I WOULD LIKE TO SEND AN E-MAIL TO A SCIENCE/DRIVERS ED TEACHER I HAD OR TO HIS FAMILY. I DON'T KNOW IF I AM SPELLING HIS NAME RIGHT, BUT I THINK IT IS MR. LOWDER.

HE WAS THE BEST TEACHER EVER AS HE REALLY CARED FOR HIS STUDENTS.

HE MADE SCIENCE SO INTERESTING, IT WAS AND STILL IS MY FAVORITE AND I AM 58 YEARS OLD.

DRIVERS ED I REMEMBER I WAS SCARED. THE FIRST DAY HE TOOK US ON THE FREEWAY, HE SAID IT WAS SAVER THEN THE REGULAR STREETS DUE TO THE CROSS TRAFFIC AND WHEN IT WAS TIME TO LEARN PARKING AND GETTING OUT OF HARD SPACES HE HAD US DRIVE TO LA VERNE. I FIGURED HE MUST LIVE IN THE AREA TO KNOW THIS PLACE TO PRATICE. IT WAS A VERY GOOD LESSON FOR ALL OF US IN HIS CLASS.

HE CARED SO MUCH FOR HIS STUDENTS. HE GAVE US SAFTY LESSONS, SHOULD SOMEONE TRY TO HURT US AND HOW TO PROTECT OURSELVES. I REMEMBER HIM SO WELL AND HOW HE REALLY CARED! I WISH ALL KIDS COULD BE SO LUCKY TO HAVE SOMEONE LIKE HIM. I STILL TELL MY KIDS,GRANDKIDS AND PEOPLE I MEET ABOUT THIS SPECIAL TEACHER. I AM NOW WORKING AT A ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BOISE IDAHO AS A ASST. MANGER IN THE LUNCH ROOM. I LOVE THE KIDS AND LIKE TO WATCH THE TEACHERS TO SEE IF THEY HAVE THE SAME CARING AS MR. LOWDER DID. I DO SEE TWO TEACHER THAT REALLY STAND OUT AND I KNOW IT IS VERY HARD IN THESE TIMES. I DO HOPE THIS MESSAGE GET TO MR.
