Wenzel Jamnitzer

Wenzel Jamnitzer (sometimes Jamitzer, or Wenzel Gemniczer) (1507/1508December 19, 1585), was a German etcher and goldsmith, who worked in Nuremberg; the best known goldsmith of his era.

Jamnitzer was born in Vienna, and died in Nürnberg. Examples of his work can be seen in the Louvre gallery in France and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
