Wenxuecity[1] (Chinese: 文学城; Pinyin: Wénxuéchéng), which meant Literature City, is one of the Chinese-language websites for overseas Chinese. Without its own news reporting staff, it is a site that mainly collects gossips and rumours, both concerning China and the world, from second hand through other sources. It also has an active set of online forums, divided into categories. In fact, about 30% of the traffic of the site consists of visits to the forums, such as "Living in North America" and "Cross-Strait Relations" etc..
Since this is a Chinese-language site that is based in the United States, it does not practice censorship like in China. Therefore, its moderators tolerate a broad range of views on the forums, with a few execptions sometimes.
In China, this website is not accessible.
