Wendy Liebman

Wendy Liebman (born February 27, 1961 in Manhasset, New York) is an American stand-up comedian known for her distinctive style which includes quick, clever follow-ups after her jokes.
She grew up in Roslyn, New York and attended Wellesley College. She began performing stand-up comedy in the Boston area in 1984, after taking a class at a local college. She later won the American Comedy Award for Female Stand-up Comedian of the Year in 1997. She has appeared on HBO, The Tonight Show and The Late Show with David Letterman.
In April 2003, Wendy married Jeffrey Sherman, whose father and uncle (the Sherman Brothers) wrote film music for Walt Disney in the 1960s.
