[edit] History

The Wendy’s franchise network of ice cream retail stores was founded in Adelaide, South Australia on July 31, 1979. This restaurant is sometimes mistaken for a franchise of Wendy's the fast food restaurant chain though it is in no way related to them.

[edit] Products

Wendy's is noted for the quality of its milkshakes. A large Mega Choc Shake, its “flagship product” according to the website, contains approximately 1,000 calories.[1] Wendy's also sells hot dogs.

  1. ^ According to the official website, a medium Mega Choc Shake (16oz equivalent) contains 805 calories. So a large Mega Choc Shake (20oz equivalent) would contain approximately 805 × 20/16 = 1,006 calories.
