Wendal, His Cat, and the Progress of Man
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wendal, His Cat, and the Progress of Man is an illustrated novel by V. Campudoni, remaining his only novel. It was published April, 1994, by Longstreet Press.
It tells the story of an average worker named Wendal who, one day, goes on a search for his lost cat, Gai Pan. His search brings him in contact with the evils of society to which he had been blind before.
The novel is illustrated by Campudoni himself, making use of simple, black-and-white pictures in an almost childish style.
The book is extremely hard to find, having had only one limited publishing run. Next to nothing is known about the author.
