Wenceslau de Moraes

Wenceslau de Moraes (May 30, 1854 - 1929), sometimes spelled Venceslau de Morais, was a Portuguese poet whose works were steeped in orientalism and exoticism, particularly the culture of Japan. A translator of Haiku, his verse was also influenced by Symbolism.
