[edit] Recent "ranch tooth" commercial
I recently saw a commercial with a guy that has a (rather big) "ranch tooth". I like the way the tooth looks --User:Angie Y.
Does anyone recall if the recent ads with the Square singing new or were they part of the original Square campaign?
I always thought the little cartoon girl in the Wendy's logo outside their restaurants was Pippi Longstocking, from the children's books by Astrid Lindgren. Pippi was described in the books as having red hair and braids that curved out. I'd never mentoned this to anyone but I once asked my daughter, who was about eight at the time, who she thought the little girl was on the the Wendy's sign. "It's definitely not Wendy," she said, matter of factly, "it's obviously Pippi Longstocking." 68.116.40.228 (talk) 19:41, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Dave Thomas picture comercial
Recently there was an ad where a mother and daughter admire a picture of Dave Thomas. I can't remember what the mom says to the daughte

[edit] The First Drive Thru
Wendy's didn't have the first drive thru...In n Out burger in California opened the first drive thru on October 22, 1948 in Baldwin Park California.
- Wendy's had the first successful introduction of the modern drive thru concept, where you order from a remote location, drive to a pay window then proceed to a pickup window. --Jeremy ( Blah blah...) 20:26, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Turkey
There were also at least 3 Wendy's restaurants in Istanbul in Turkey(at which I have eaten). I don't know the exact number, but I guess there sould be at least 5-6 restaurants only in Istanbul and several more in other major cities of Turkey. I also can not remmember the exact date when they left Turkey, at least 10 years should have passed.
[edit] Thailand
Thailand is missing off the list of former restaurants (Siam Sq and MBK centre). The were at least two Wendys in Bangkok. The restaurants never closed, instead changed their name to Santas, but continued to sell identical Wendys products along with a Thai menu. Today the Santa in the MBK still exists, much of the Wendy's menu has gone replace with other item howver it still sells Wendy burgers. Paul 21-11-2007
[edit] Finland
Article claims that Wendy's operates in Finland but I couldn't find any information to back this. As far as I know Wendy's is not and has never been in Finland. --Taalen (talk) 21:19, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
