After a few moves without discussion, we have "Venceslaus II of Bohemia, Wenceslaus II Premyslid ...", while his son is listed under "Wenceslaus III of Bohemia, Wenceslaus III Premyslid ...". How about consistency? -- Matthead discuß!   O    23:00, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Question re early 15th C. Wenceslas

According to a couple of books I read recently on the Teutonic Order and the 1410 Battle of Tannenberg (Grunwald / Zirgalis), there was a King Wenceslas, or Wenceslaus, of Bohemia who attempted to mediate between the Teutonic Order and the King of Poland in 1409. I don't find this personage on the disambugation list. What's up?

[edit] Question regarding the children of Wenceslaus II

According to his bio, his son Wenceslaus III was only 4 days older than his sister Anna (06 October to 10 October 1289). Anna lived for at least 3 years. Another daughter, also named Anna, was born exactly 1 year to the day after the first Anna. Is this correct? If one assumes that the listing for the first Anna was an error (e.g., she didn't exist), then that leaves only 9 children listed. Esaons 15:23, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

The result of the debate was PAGE MOVED per discussion below. -GTBacchus(talk) 00:01, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Why was this moved? Wenceslaus is the English spelling and the ducal articles conform to it. Srnec 23:11, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] King of Poland

By what right did Wenceslaus become king of Poland? Was her related to the Polish kings/dukes in some way? Was he truly the first in the line of succession? Top.Squark (talk) 08:53, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
