Image talk:WendySP.jpg

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm sorry for that outburst about you being an idiot, Rettatest, but that is my honest opinion on you (after observing your treatment of Wikipedia for some more time, it might possibly change, though). If you get rid of this image, it will disrupt the whole article, and possibly the encyclopedia. In the first place, as I said on UserDoe's talkpage, supposing a reader who has never seen the show, and wants to know about it comes and reads this article. They might want to know what Wendy - and the other characters - look like, and while a verbal description of their appearance is definately important to include for every character section, it is by no means enough to settle on, for any length of time. That's in the first place.

In the second place, I don't know about all the other images on this page, but this image definately has an appropriate fair use rationale and porper, legal licensing, (as I said on your talkpage, I saw personally to it that that was accomplished) so to say that it still does not deserve to be on Wikipedia, even after all that hard work User:Farosdaughter did to save the image from certain death, is unfair. That's in the second place.

In the third, this is a very, very beautiful image, of a very beautiful lady, and Wikipedia should feel privileged - not to mention honoured - to have this image amongst contents, and legally as well. Wilhelmina Will 22:17, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

We don't need this image. The South Park articles have enough illustrations and this one is purely decorative in the context of the whole series and the image therefore fails WP:NFCC#8. We are the free encyclopedia, and should only use non free images when it is absolutely necessary. And please review WP:NPA thoroughly. You are entitled to your opinion about editors but keep it to yourself. I don't care what you think but plenty of great editors has left the project because of personal attacks. Let them leave, if that's how they would behave. The encyclopedia would be better off without them scrounging around, looking for timeless jewels-of-images to insanely slaughter. You might also end up like that if you continue with this behaviour of yours. When she once again becomes notable enough for an article of her own; the image must be there to go back inside. And watch out about how you speak to me, because (peels off her glove and shows off her long, sharp nails) I take offence very easily, and I lash out. Wilhelmina Will 01:35, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Furthermore, I don't care what you say about "necessary images". You can never have enough of them. Wilhelmina Will 01:38, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
