United Kingdom general election results for Sheffield Wentworth constituency from its original creation in 1918 to its abolishion in 1950, and from its re-creation in 1983 to 2005. © Jeremy Atherton 2005.

The Background colour indicates the party of the sitting MP at any given year. The striped grey background indicates the period during which the constituency was abolished.

Elections held in 1922, 1923 and 1924 do not appear on this graph. Only one candidate (Labour) stood at each of these elections and so no votes were cast, the candidate being elected unopposed. Dashed lines indicate the missing elections.
