Wembley Downs is a wealthy suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located in the northwest sector of the affluent "western suburbs" of Perth. It is about 11km from the CBD and is mostly in the City of Stirling. Its postcode is 6019. It lies between the glow of money that tends to radiate from City Beach, and the aroma of goon that stains the streets of Churchlands.
The suburb was named after the local golf course (located within the Town of Cambridge), which was named after the suburb of Wembley, which was named after .
Wembley Downs contains Hale School, an Anglican boys' private school, as well as a public primary school and a small shopping centre. Homes in the area range from smaller salmon brick homes to opulent mansions and striking residences particularly in the Hale Heights, Buxton Road and Buntine Road/Faulkner Street areas.
The street plan of Wembley Downs is designed in a circular pattern around the main intersection similar. The current median price of the area is $1,020,000 and many new luxurious homes are contributing to this increase.
