Weltklasse Zürich

Weltklasse Zürich is an annual athletics meeting at the Letzigrund in Zürich, Switzerland that takes place on August 19 as the fourth part of the IAAF Golden League. One of the first large-scale international athletics events (outside the Olympics), it is sometimes referred to as the one day Olympics.
Weltklasse Zürich first took place on August 12, 1928. 24 world records were broken or equalled in the meeting's history. In 2008 the meeting will take place on August 29, 2008.
