Welsh Fourth Channel Authority

The Welsh Fourth Channel Authority, known in Welsh as yr Awdurdod S4C, controls the S4C (Sianel Pedwar Cymru, Channel 4 Wales) television station. It is not connected to Ofcom, or any other regulator, and exists purely to ensure the quality of the country's Welsh language channel. It is currently chaired by John Walter Jones OBE.
