- Wells Fargo Arena is also the name of an arena in Des Moines.
Wells Fargo Arena is a 14,198-seat multi-purpose arena in Tempe, Arizona, USA. The arena opened in 1974 as the Arizona State University Activity Center at a cost of $8 million. It was renamed after Wells Fargo Bank in 1997. It is home to the Arizona State University Sun Devils basketball team. It hosted the 1990 Pacific Ten Conference men's basketball tournament.
