Wellington Sevens

The Wellington Sevens or the NZI International Sevens is an annual rugby sevens tournament held in Wellington, New Zealand. The tournament, part of the IRB Sevens World Series, is played at Wellington's Westpac Stadium and includes teams from 16 countries
The event has a celebratory atmosphere and attracts over 30,000 spectators yearly, many attending in creative costumes planned well in advance and all determined to have a good time. These features, together with the fast-paced play, has turned the Wellington Sevens into one of New Zealand's leading sports events. Tickets sell out well in advance of the tournament.
