"Well Well Well" is a song from the album John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band by John Lennon with backing from the Plastic Ono Band featuring Ringo Starr on drums and Klaus Voorman on bass. The song is arguably the loudest and heaviest song on the album, and is the second of two songs on this album, along with "I Found Out", to feature distortion. It is also the second song on this album, along with "Mother", to feature screaming.
The song narrates various situations with his loved one, presumably Yoko Ono, with whom he discusses themes of revolution, liberalism, women's liberation, and guilt.
The song was recently featured in Martin Scorsese's 2006 film, The Departed.
