Well, Lincolnshire

Well is a small estate village on the foot of the east entry to the Lincolnshire Wolds. The village is a picturesque as it provides good views of the gradually sloping hills towards the west. In the village there is a church, a telephone box, a post box and a bus shelter with a limited callconnect bus service.

The cricket club in Well serves the whole of Alford and the surrounding area. Frequent matches are played here and in the summer Car Boots are a common occurrence and once yearly a Bonfire Night is held on the 4th and 6th November.
