Weiler is also a family surname frequently found in Germany, in the United States and in the south of Brazil. For instance, one of the pioneers who traveled west in the United States in 1847 with Brigham Young, prophet and president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and settled in Utah was Jacob Weiler.
