Weibull

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Weibulls are a Scanian family originating in Denmark.

The family has produced several historians; the most famous of which are the brothers Lauritz and Curt, who revolutionized Swedish historiography during the first decades of the 20th century. Their influence has been profound but in some circles controversial.

The Weibull probability distribution is named after Waloddi Weibull, a physicist at the Royal Institute of Technology.
