Not true. With a proper fitting harness combined with good conditioning- dogs are often able to enjoy satisfying lives since they have additional care and affection from their masters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.40.134.40 (talk) 22:06, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Weight pulling is bad for a dog's joints and bones. Veterinarians advise against it for that reason. 71.28.243.28 00:45, 4 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Working Out
Does anyone know if this is good for working out your dog and increasing muscle? I mean I have only thought about this recently, because people work out to increases muscle mass and get god bodies, so why not dogs to? My dog is a female pitbull, and I have noticed she has very little muscle on her shouder blades and over her spine on her back. I mean I was just thinking the other day that it wouldn't be hard for a slice on her back to expose bone. And this is really strange to me as I take her for regular walks and always feed her alot!
