I just added that last paragraph. If anyone knows anything more of the area, please let me know - I have many relatives from this area, some of whom still remember Wehrum as a town.

Wehrum is in buffington township, Indiana County pa, not Cambria county. When the Wehrum dam broke in 77 it did not contribute to the flooding of Johnstown as it was in the blacklick creek watershed.
