WEC 26: Condit vs. Alessio was the second mixed martial arts event held by the World Extreme Cagefighting under Zuffa management. The event was held on March 24, 2007. WEC 26 hosted three title fights on March 24th. The first of the title fights was for the WEC Bantamweight Title, between challenger, Chase Beebe and champion, Eddie Wineland. The second of the title fights was for the WEC Featherweight Title, between challenger, Dominick Cruz and champion, Urijah Faber. The final title fight was for the vacant WEC Welterweight Title, between Carlos Condit and John Alessio.
