"Weasel Stomping Day" is a song by American parodist "Weird Al" Yankovic, which appears on his 2006 album Straight Outta Lynwood. It is also one of six songs on the album to have an animated music video, created for the Adult Swim show Robot Chicken. This video appeared in "The Munnery", the twelfth episode of the second season, which aired on September 24, 2006, two days before the album was released. Al has jokingly said that Weasel Stomping Day falls on June 31st, a day that does not exist in the Gregorian calendar.[1]

The lyrics describe a fictitious holiday, which involves putting on a Viking helmet, spreading mayonnaise on one's lawn (presumably to attract the weasels) and stomping weasels to death. It is indicated that the participants don't know the history behind it, but do it anyway because it's a "tradition" (similar to The Simpsons episode "Whacking Day", Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery", and the prologue to Fiddler on the Roof). The song itself contains a cheery melody, reminiscent of animated musical specials of the 1960s, punctuated by sounds of weasels being crushed. The music video, in Robot Chicken's stop motion animation style, generally follows the lyrics, and very graphically depicts weasels being crushed in various ways. A character wearing a PETA T-shirt fully participates in the weasel-stomping activities.

The music video was produced by Robot Chicken, using the typical generic action figures that are a hallmark of that show. Weird Al is even animated himself in action figure form, along with three other girl characters who do the back-up singing in the song. In the mini-documentary on the DualDisc release, it is revealed that the sounds of the weasels being stomped are produced by Weird Al abusing fruit and various other items of food. Also, in the CD insert, there is credit given to Suzanne (Al's wife), Nina (Al's daughter), and Bo (Al's pet bird), for contributing parts of the weasel sounds. Nina's and Bo's screeching sounds are clearly audible in the song.
