"Weak Become Heroes" was the third single from The Streets album Original Pirate Material. It was released on July 2, 2002.
The song concerns Mike Skinner's nostalgia for nightclub culture in the 1990s. Towards the end of the track he names Danny Rampling, Paul Oakenfold and Nicky Holloway as influences. He also makes reference to the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.
This song was remixed by Röyksopp, an electronic music duo from Norway.
