I've referred our link spam issue to Wikipedia:Village pump (assistance). Art LaPella 00:59, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
Why you consider my link is spam? How can I do not like spam?
After asking around, the consensus is backing me up. Please read this paragraph of official Wikipedia policy: Wikipedia:External links#What should not be linked to. Advertising is expensive, but Wikipedia doesn't exist to provide free advertising. If we did, we would have to offer free advertising to all of your better known competitors. Remember, they all have advanced technology too, depending on how you look at it. Also see the reaction to my question at Wikipedia:Village pump (assistance)#Link spam. I see that one of the people who saw that question has already reverted you. "How can I do not like spam?" I think you meant, how can you avoid spamming us? Any kind of advertising your product isn't going to be acceptable until you are as well known as the other products on the list. The way to avoid spam is to describe the subject from the point of view of someone who wants to know about coin acceptors in general, not from an advertising point of view. Thanks art LaPella, I understand now, as long as there is not advertising then it is OK.
You're welcome. Art LaPella 01:58, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
Basically, when your entire edit history on Wikipedia consists of inserting links to your own product, it's spam. :-) You do get major brownie points, though, for registering an account under a non-misleading name. Hang around, work on some more articles, and show that you're not just advertising your own product, and referring to it in the future will be less spammish.--SarekOfVulcan 02:13, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
Sorry, I am new here, I just join it, I made mistake. I like to improve and I also want to contribute.
Could you please review if following paragraph is OK? thanks again.
Multi Coin Acceptor is coin acceptor which can recoginize multiple types of coins. Most Recently some new types of coin acceptor have micro processor built inside to make the coin acceptor more intelligent and user friendly, even acceptor multiple types of coins, for example it can recognize the coins by training it, so it will support any types of coins or tokens from all countries by just training it. Coin Acceptor for Kiosk is coin acceptor specilly made for PC Kiosk. Because of the micro processor built inside, it also can communicate with PC directly which will make this type coin acceptor can be easily used in Internet Kiosk or any PC related Kiosk just by connecting it directly.
- You know more about this subject than I do - my experience is limited to a few unsuccessful years of owning vending machines in stores, from 1981 to 1988. But does this describe most coin acceptors or just yours? The readers will want to read about coin acceptors in general.
- If we can overcome that issue, English obviously isn't your native language, but I (or others) can easily rewrite it. In some places, that would require asking you what some sentences really mean. Art LaPella 03:09, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
