[edit] Merge Proposal
(copied from Talk:Warhammer 40,000 Imperial Guard Equipment and Weaponry)
There is a lot of overlap between the Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Equipment and Weaponry and Warhammer 40,000 Imperial Guard Equipment and Weaponry lists. Similar information also crops up in Imperial Guard (Warhammer 40,000 army), Witch Hunters, and a few other locations.
What I'm proposing is that all this information is combined into a single list, something along the lines of Weapons, Equipment and Vehicles of the Imperium (Warhammer 40,000). Any questions, comments or concerns, leave them here or at Talk:Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Equipment and Weaponry. Saberwyn 07:00, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. My only slight worry is that the combined page might be a bit long, but we could always make separate 'weapons' and 'vehicles' pages (or something like that) if that seems to be a problem. --Pak21 10:15, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
Meh. 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' I don't think that a merger would really be worth the time when the available information is already easy to get hold of, despite overlaps. But then, if someone is willing to invest time in managing the change, I won't nay say it. (Olis 03:08, 14 November 2005 (UTC))

- I must have failed to copy it over when I merged the information. My apologies. Saberwyn 02:45, 16 November 2005 (UTC)

- It's okay. i put it on right now. Pece Kocovski 07:19, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
-
- I note that all three images on this page still have no source or copyright information, so they will be deleted sometime very soon unless this information is added. --Pak21 08:09, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
i already gave you what website there from, right? Pece Kocovski 02:45, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, but you haven't put any source or copyright information on the images. You have to do this, or the images will be deleted. --Pak21 09:13, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Bolter
Bolter needs an overhaul. There's just too much information in there compared to the other entries, and a lot of it is unnecessarily detailed. Saberwyn 12:17, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
- Found a paragraph, that when deleted, did the job nicely. Saberwyn 09:29, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] New Codicier from the Administratum
Hello,
I have already added this to the Warhammer 40,000 discussion, but I'm not sure if this article is seperate from that and since this is where I had made additions I thought it prudent to add it here to.
I’m a new user to Wikipedia, but I have been into Warhammer 40,000 for about ten years now. I am really excited about what I’m seeing here, as I have always wanted access to a compilation of 40k background and technical material. The background and concepts in 40k are what got me into 40k in the first place, but also because I have been trying to create a Role-playing system.
So I hope you find my additions interesting and informative, though I’m not familiar with using Wikipedia so some help would be appreciated. I have made additions to the Power Armour section in the Weapons, Equipment and Vehicles of the Imperium article so let me know what you think and what I need to do to do it properly. I will list where I gathered this information here, as I’m not sure where to put that either.

- In general, just add a "References" section and put the places where you culled the information from in there. See (eg) List of Space Marine Chapters for an example. Hope this helps! --Pak21 09:26, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
- Who added the Maximus entry? It's great :D Usiel
Usiel Here
Made an addition to the Boltgun section detailing ammunition. I know that it was mentioned earlier that it was to big but I figured since I was writing about ammo and not the weapon itself it would be ok. Hope you like.

[edit] Stormhammer
Seriously doubting if this is a canon Baneblade variant, as ForgeWorld don't have any for sale. If someone can tell me that the Stormhammer does appear in the new Imperial Armour: Volume 1, I'll concede, but for the moment I'm deleting the text from the main article. -- Saberwyn 22:05, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
- It does not. See, however, this page: [1]. There once was an era before Forgeworld, see? --Agamemnon2 04:09, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
-
- Ah, Epic 40,000. Completely forgot about that, but when I checked the rulebooks online at http://www.specialist-games.com/epic/rulebook.asp, I saw that there was no mention of the Stormhammer. My question (as it now stands), is it still canon? If not, it it worth inclusion? -- Saberwyn 04:49, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm. Oddly, they've seemed to have removed the "Collector's Models" section of the rulebook, which held the statistics for things not in the official armylists, like Imperator Titans. --Agamemnon2 17:44, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, what the hell. I'll put it back. -- Saberwyn
[edit] Too long
The article is currently 45kb in size. I think it might be time to split it into either 2 or 3 seperate articles (either weapons+equipment and vehicles or all 3 seperate). That would bring the articles down to reasonable sizes.-Localzuk (talk) 16:18, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
