We Too Are One is the eighth album by pop music duo Eurythmics, released in 1989 (see 1989 in music). It was also the last studio release for a whole decade until Peace in 1999.
When it was released in 1989, the album went straight to number one in the UK, and number thirty-four in the U.S. It spawned four singles, all of which reached the UK top 30: "Revival," "Don't Ask Me Why," "The King and Queen of America," and "Angel." In the United States, "(My My) Baby's Gonna Cry" was also released but failed to chart. With the sole exception of "When the Day Goes Down", which was occasionally performed during Eurythmics' 1999/2000 reunion Peacetour, Lennox and Stewart (solo or playing as Eurythmics) largely ignored material from the record during post-1989/1990 live shows. In line with this, 2005's Ultimate Collection included none of the songs from We Too Are One.
On November 14 2005, SonyBMG repackaged and released Eurythmics' back catalog as "2005 Deluxe Edition Reissues." Each of their eight studio albums' original track listings were supplemented with bonus tracks and remixes.
