[edit] History
The band was formed when Jonathan Jones' band, Waking Ashland, broke up. On July 21, 2007, the band put up 4 demos on their MySpace page, http://www.myspace.com/weshotthemoon. In August 2007, they changed their name from The Honor Roll to We Shot the Moon and moved the songs to a new MySpace page, whose title reflected the new band name; they have kept the old MySpace page online but have replaced most of the content with an image linking to their new page.
They entered the studio on August 22, 2007, to record a full-length album. The title of the LP is Fear And Love. They embarked on a U.S. Tour at the end of September and it went through mid November. They then followed up with a tour in Japan. We Shot The Moon is currently on tour with Mayday Parade and The Graduate.
