We Hate Everything But Boys is a successful young adult novel first published in 1985 by Archway Paperbacks. The novel was the first to be published about Linda Berman, but the fourth chronologically. It later spawned "The Linda Series" also known as "The Linda Stories." This novel is set during Linda's sixth grade year.

Take Jeff, for instance. Sometimes I think he really likes me, and then he goes nuts over that stuck up Sue-Ann, who chases him like mad. I made each of the members swear to do anything to find out who her true love really likes. Of course, I had no idea how much trouble that could cause. Me and my big ideas!
