WE Fest is a country music festival held every August at Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. The first WE Fest was held in 1983 and is attended on average by about 50,000 people over a 3 - 4 day period. Famous singers who have performed in the past at WE Fest include Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Amy Grant, and Rascal Flatts. In 2007, the attendance reached a record high of 83,000 people over the weekend at the themed "Heaven in '07" concert.
