Contents

[edit] Variations

It may be significant to note the regional differences in some of the major productions (notably, the Vegas production).

[edit] POV?

This article contains pretty obvious POV language, describing the arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody as "marvellous" for example. Come on guys, it's an encyclopeadia, we can do without the adjectives. There's also no mention of the critical mauling the show received.

[edit] Rock Opera?

should this be classified as a Rock Opera? It seemes to me like it should.

No, it's a Rock musical. Compare that article with the one about Rock opera. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 05:02, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Links need fixing

The blue links for the cast need checking and where appropriate changing (for example Adam Murray and Chris Holland are articles on footballers). WikiGull 21:35, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cast lists

The cast list is getting rather long and is more than half the article. If no one objects, I'll move the list to another article, as has been done with the various Wicked (musical) cast lists. -- Annie D 04:15, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Amateur Productions

The 'Schools Will Rock You' programme is interesting and worth keeping if it can be rewritten. However, information about the individual productions and 'if you're in Georgia you should come for $5 a ticket' is certainly not notable.

I don't have an account so could someone put this down - Coedcae comprehensive school, Llanelli is doing it at the end of October 2007. 30th May 2007

[edit] quo[d]te erat demonstrandum

Shouldn't there be a wikiquote with lines from this show. There are some that are really quite good. 30th May 2007

[edit] Synopsis

Shouldn't the plot summary be a little bit more detailled? My English isn't good enough to write a complete synopsis myself but I don't think that the one that's here now is really good or satisfying.

[edit] We Will Rock You - in Australia

Anyone know when "We Will Rock You" will return to Sydney Australia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.171.58.40 (talk) 12:01, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Not anytime soon that I can make out. I might be wrong, though. Annie D (talk) 01:43, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Varberg production

I reverted an addition of the "Varberg, Sweden" production in 2007, because as far as I can tell from the official Queen website, this isn't one of the official Queen Theatrical productions. It may be an externally licensed production. If this was a mistake on my part, I apologise, and please restore and add a supporting citation. Annie D (talk) 00:25, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

It was externally licensed, but it still is an international production. I thought the goal on here was to mention all international productions, regardless of the licensing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.179.10.205 (talk) 22:36, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Fair enough. I'll add it to the other productions section. Annie D (talk) 02:52, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Australasia != Asia

None of Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand are in Australasia.

Also, the Singapore dates are incorrect; it closes here on April 13. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.12.149.130 (talk) 11:48, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

If you have a citation for the April 13 closing, that's great, but the lunchbox production website and the sistic ticket vendor website say it'll close on April 27. As for "Australasia" -- yeah, that's misleading, but that's how they've named the tour on the Queen website. If you have a better suggestion, please feel free to edit the page. Annie D (talk) 12:21, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

My mistake; sistic is correct of course. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.12.149.130 (talk) 06:12, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
